Fall 2016/17 Paris Couture Week: Kendall Jenner Opens For Fendi’s “Legends And Fairytales” Haute Fourrure Show

Fendi Legends and Fairy tales Haute Fourrure Show at the Paris Couture Week was all shades of epic, not so much for the collection as it was for the venue. Which is not to say that it wasn’t a great collection. It was. But years from now, the show will be remembered for the magical venue more than it would be for the collection itself.

The fashion house was celebrating its 90th anniversary, so Karl Lagerfeld went all out to secure and restore Rome’s famous Trevi Fountain for the show. A whooping 2.6 million euros was thrown into the restoration of the fountain and some more to convert it to a catwalk.

He had his team of models led by Kendall Jenner walk on water -only Karl can pull that off- as they showcased the label’s latest offering which included mink coats – lots of it, sheer gowns and more. All very artsy, all very impressive.
