#LFW 2016 – ANYA HINDMARCH GIVES AN ARTISTIC SPIN TO COATS & DRESSES

London Fashion Week continues to impress me with the way different designers are making the runway a memorable one with their increasingly artistic spin to ready to wear and Anya Hindmarch is one of such designers.

The London based fashion brand left a lasting impression with its ready to wear presentation as the collection showcased an artistic spin to coat, dresses and swimwears with its design aesthetics.

The dominant use of naive craft techniques i.e bright coloured leather pieces nicely shaped by cutting edge technology to produce complex shapes and sizes, gave this collection the edge and creativity I have been searching for in runway displays.

Coats came with shoulder cut outs that were filled with beaded and flowery embellishments. These embellishment also made for detailing on lapels, torsos and capes and were also generously used to spice up the bags and footwears worn by the models.

Take a look.
