#AFWN2016: House Of Tangerine (H.O.T)
Yemi Alade officially debuted her clothing line at the grand finale of the Africa Fashion Week Nigeria 2016, showcasing the first ever collection from her fashion label House of Tangerine (H.O.T). This was in conjunction with DNA by Iconic Invanity
The award-winning diva who is the the ambassador for the 2016 Africa Fashion Week Nigeria & London, presented an average collection. The collection had really casual chic pieces from her line. However, the collection wasn’t as good as expected because two designers came together and a lot more was expected.
The highlight of the catwalk was when Yemi stepped up on stage to do what she knows how to do best, which is singing. She performed live emotive renditions of “Na Gode”, “Ferrari” and her most recent single “Koffi Anan”.
The collection was styled by celebrity stylist Jane Michael Ekanem and cool shades were provided by Dapmod. The H.O.T collection had cute skirts, short dresses, long dresses, leggings, round necks, jumpsuits and play-suits. Purple and orange were constant colors in the collection and all the models wore sneakers.
