LISA FOLAWIYO’S SPRING/SUMMER 2017 COLLECTION IS ALL SHADES OF LOVELY
Some days ago, Nigerian fashion designer Lisa Folawiyo unveiled her Spring/Summer 2017 collection to an exclusive crowd at New York Fashion Week.
Lisa Folawiyo is celebrated for her colourful collections that fuse traditional West African fabrics with modern tailoring and beaded embellishments. Since starting her label in 2005, Folawiyo has spearheaded the movement of Nigerian designers achieving international recognition for their work.
She has also relaunched her label’s website and released the lookbook for the collection starring Elite Model Look Nigeria winner Mayowa Nicholas. The collection is made up of well made and fashionable pieces and the model was absolutely stunning.
