THE AKWA IBOM- YORUBA WEDDING OF NKOYO AND FEMI

THE AKWA IBOM- YORUBA WEDDING OF NKOYO AND FEMI

This is probably another of my favourite love stories as it is a union of Igbo meet Yoruba. As you already know I’m still in the search of my Igbo lover who will open my eyes to a new side of Nigerian culture and traditions and most especially the Igbo culture and traditions coupled with their very many soups (that’s because I’m a foodie).

So apart from my love of Igbo soups, this type of marriage actually unites Nigeria on a much higher level, bringing together a love that isn’t bounded by ethnic group, traditions or culture but a love that is all-in-all. This union often times brings about lovely and beautiful kids with origin and backgrounds from two major Nigerian ethnic groups.

It was a all-in-all love that brought together Akwa Ibom girl, Nkoyo and Yoruba boy, Femi. From entirely different ethnic groups and culture, these two individuals found love with each other and decided to make it official.

Nkoyo and Femi had a beautiful wedding ceremony with family and friends. Their wedding ceremony was a display of the beautiful and vibrant Efik and Yoruba cultures. This beautiful couple for their traditional wedding ceremony went for both the Yoruba and South South traditional looks, paying respect to their individual backgrounds.

Their wedding event was planned by La’ Heiress Weddings with make-up done by Tifara Abimbola and photography by Tap Studios.
