Ladies are receptive to attention its part of who we are until its not. As a lady one of the best ways we know we can seek attention from those around us is through the way we dress. Dressing is a way by which we express who we are, not just to seek attention but to feel confident and to tell a little story.

Years ago women were not as keen to looking good as they are now, although there are a lot of undertone’s that is a cause for concern in this era, we still cannot take away from the fact that we have indeed raised the fashion bar by 50%. As a nigerian, the pleasure that comes from being able to wear the Ankara without being termed “too local” is almost unimaginable. The days when we were totally westernized is long gone, now we are about embracing our culture and the cloth that we’ve chosen to call our own.

Since the Ankara is no longer left for Friday’s only, creativity has become more in demand as fashion enthusiast have to be satisfied. It is incredible to see that the fashion designers have put a lot of effort into making more incredible styles that are satisfactory to fashion consumers.

Being a lover of Ankara myself, you would understand when I tell you that I feel super confident in any Ankara fashion piece I wear, there is this ladylike feel I get when am wearing my Ankara culotte’s or peplum blouse. The satisfaction becomes greater when everyone in your office seems to enjoy your look, some love it so much they want to meet your tailor and even if they don’t the fact that you are unique because of your tailored Ankara piece is enough to boost your confidence.
