Note that prior to the formal introduction the family are already aware of the existence of the groom, in short he has been invited for all the family functions and activities but it is tradition to hold an introduction ceremony.

This introduction is not a ceremony that is just for one section it’s for both, this meeting is where each family gets to know and relate with each other and therefore the ceremony is serious celebration.
