#HLFDW2017! Heineken Lagos Fashion & Design Week 2017: Day 4 – Imad Eduso

Heineken Lagos Fashion and Design Week 2017 Day 4 has come to a close with designers like Bridget Awosika, Christie Brown, Kenneth Nze, Gert Johan Coetzee, Kiki Kimanu IamIsigo and other.

Themed ‘Africa: Shaping Fashion’s Future’, the 7th edition of the highly anticipated runway show returned with lots of innovative African designs and techniques.

Dami Osude, creative director of fashion label Imad Eduso, established in 2015. Studied Computer information systems at Babcock university, during which she took a few short courses at the London College of fashion, after which she had one year internship at Lisa Folawiyo whilst taking online pattern making courses, then started Imad Eduso.

This collection embodies parallel stories: love and personal growth. On the one hand, we experience a woman in love and the natural progression from the first flush and thrill of new love to something more sure, concrete; a vow of commitment. At the same time,it is the story of a woman’s personal growth expressed through her clothing. It’s a capsule of colors, structured pieces and clean lines.
