Bola Balogun, Ezinne Chinkata, More! Stylish Attendees on Day 1- Lagos Fashion Week A/W18 Presentations
Last weekend, the most stylish people in Lagos flocked toThe Wings – Oando in Victoria Island, Lagos for the Lagos Fashion Week (#LFWNG).
Formerly known as Lagos Fashion and Design Week (LFDW), Lagos hosted a three-Day Series of Fashion Presentations from the 23rd to the 25th March 2018. During this time we were not disappointed as we saw some phenomenal, unexpected, bundled-up outfit inspiration.
The Autumn/Winter presentations, which was introduced last year, speaks to African designers who are already creating collections for both traditional fashion seasons of Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter and are seeking a global audience and customer base. It also speaks to Lagos Fashion Week’s commitment to catalysing the African Fashion industry ecosystem and providing greater avenues for commercial success for designers based on the continent.
This year’s presentation series entitled ‘Seasons’ which took an intimate salon-style format, hosted the latest collections from the following designers; Bridget Awosika, Emmy Kasbit, Gozel Green, GREY, IAMISIGO, Kenneth Ize, Maxivive, Mo Agusto, Onalaja, Orange Culture, Re, Sisiano, Style Temple, Sunny Rose and Tsemaye Binitie.
