ARISE Fashion Week 2018 Day 3: Sunny Rose

The runway shows of the highly anticipated ARISE Fashion Week kicked off on 31st March 2018 at Lagos Continental Hotel (formerly Intercontinental Hotel) with stunning collections from various designers across Africa.

Sunny Rose showcased a punk collection on Day 3 of ARISE. Emerging from the Eastern parts of Nigeria, Maureen Okogwu-Ikokwu, creative director of Sunny Rose discovered her passion for accessories as a child while rummaging through her mother’s wardrobe and trinket cases. Her talent for creating imaginative drawings and love of flamboyant treasure was also evident from an early age. Sunny Rose was inspired by her travels around the globe.
