Show Report: AFI Capetown Fashion Week — Ruff Tung | #AFICTFW18

On the 9th of April 2019, AFI Capetown Fashion Week officially kicked off with top South African designers showcasing their pieces for the Spring/Summer 2019 season.

The shacara.com Fashion and Style Department is doing Show Reports on all designers showcasing their latest collection this season. Featuring amazing shows, from Marianne Fassler and David Tlale to Neviole and Gavin Rajah.

South African duo, Ruff Tung presented their AW/19 “Blueblood” collection which was inspired by the amazing women in the creative directors’ lives. It features regal pieces in simple silhouettes, bold prints and lots of sequins. It was classic with a contemporary twist.
