The Best Street Style From Hyères Festival
Vogue's roving fashion photographer Søren Jepsen was there to capture the style set as they descended on the French Riviera for the 34th edition of the Festival d’Hyères, which spotlights the creative talent of the future through a series of prestigious competitions.
Each spring, the oldest resort town on the French Riviera plays host to the oldest fashion festival in the world: the Festival d’Hyères. Officially known as the International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Accessories, held within the modernist interiors of the Villa Noailles, it gathers designers, artists, international press and the public for five days of shows, exhibitions and workshops. The goal? To discover the creative talents of the future through a series of prestigious competitions: one that showcases the work of young photographers; an accessories prize sponsored by Swarovski; the longstanding Première Vision Grand Prize; and Chanel’s new Métiers d’Art prize, awarded to the best collaboration between a finalist and one of the brand’s 10 métiers d’art ateliers.
