Kelly Rowland Reveals She’s Expecting Her Second Child On Women’s Health’s November Issue

Congratulations are in order for Kelly Rowland and her husband Tim Weatherspoon after she revealed on Wednesday that they are expecting a baby.

The American singer who recently graced the first-ever Music Issue of Women’s Health showed off her baby bump on the magazine’s cover while announcing the happy news on social media.

“You still want to remind people that life is important,” she says of deciding to share the surprise with fans. “And being able to have a child…I’m knocking at 40’s door in February. Taking care of myself means a lot to me.”

In the rest of her accompanying interview, Rowland opens up about being pregnant in a pandemic, parenting, and taking a moment to breathe. The Destiny Child alum, due later this year, said that she hesitated to share the news publicly — especially during a time when the country is facing the coronavirus pandemic and a national reckoning on race.
