Eku Edewor Makes A Case For High-Fashion Dresses In Weiz Dhurm Franklyn’s 2020 Holiday Edit

Eku Edewor makes doing household chores look glamorous as she fronts the 2020 Christmas editorial of sophisticated brand Weiz Dhurm Franklyn. Slaying the vibrant photos, the Nollywood actress and TV host poses in beautiful intricate pieces from the celebrated New York-based Nigerian designer.

In keeping with the label’s directional and ethereal aesthetic, the edit features both structured pieces with cutouts, to floaty chiffon pieces with sequin embellishments.

One standout look is a red flowing dress from the label’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection tagged “Journey Through The Pyramids” which was inspired by the creative director Wisdom Adaba‘s trip to Giza in Egypt.

Although our holidays were a little different this year, many of the looks would be perfect for everything from virtual red carpet events to fancy Valentines Day dinners, or even unconventional intimate weddings.
