Fall 2016/2017 Paris Couture Week: Mayowa Nicholas, Bella Hadid, Irina Shayk, More Walk For Atelier Versace
Subtle Sexiness! Those are the two words that best describe Atelier Versace’s Autumn/Winter 2016-17 collection showcased at the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week which has officially kicked off.
Outdoing herself with intricate designs and interesting silhouettes, Donatella played with a mix of textures to create elegant and very feminine pieces – a thigh here, a bare shoulder there -without subscribing to over-the-top raciness.
Asymmetric gowns, slip dresses, cashmere coats, silk fabrics, off-shoulder details, ruffles, layered necklines are some of this collection’s offerings.
Donatella also chose models of the moment including Mayowa Nicholas, Bella Hadid, Irina Shayk, Taylor Hill and Joan Smalls to walk the runway with Karen Elson opening the show.
