Weddings are great and they are a time for fun, laughter and celebration.

Weddings are a big deal in Nigeria and the Yoruba’s have one of the flashiest wedding ceremonies among the three major tribes in the country (Igbo and Hausa are the other major tribes).

One thing that I find fascinating about the Yoruba weddings is the vibrancy of the entire atmosphere, the Yoruba’s are typically a very boisterous tribe and so it doesn’t come as a surprise that their wedding ceremony would be just as vibrant.
