Batik Galore! Waje And Omawumi Front Trish O Couture’s Exotic Resort Wear Campaign

The vocal powerhouses appear in the label’s latest collection, photographed by Femi Alabede
Following on the heels of its ready-to-wear collection, Trish O Couture has tapped Nigerian songstresses Waje and Omawumi for Resort 2019.

Themed ‘Indigenous’, the duo are photographed in a series of stunning portraits – that throwback to a traditional style favoured by label founder Trish Onumonu – by the talented Femi Alabede.

The collection itself is a return to the basics. According to the designer, it represents, “What is truly Nigerian. What is truly African. It is a balance between indigenous origins and modern times.”

It also introduces an array of Tie & dye & Batik prints with embellished pattern and features figure-flattering styles that are modern, timeless and spells comfort.
