Shells Belles Kidz (SBKidz) releases its 2016 Adonis Blu & Rose chiffon dress pair for girls aged 2 to 10 years old.

The very busy and intricate African Ankara-inspired print on this collection is softened by the warmer embracing rose tone and the cooler tranquil blue echoing the 2016 Pantone colors of the year- serenity and rose quartz.

With this collection, “we are empowering little girls to be comfortable with using colors as a form of expression and move past being typecast into what color they can wear (blue is for boys and pink is for girls) or what they can achieve”, says Shells Naija, Founder and Designer for Shells Belles Kidz.

Beyond shattering gender divide as it relates to color, Shells Naija said that “the frill signature on this dress pair stems from an impromptu chat I had with 12 girls who walked my dresses at the East Coast Starz fashion show in Whippany, NJ last year- when asked what they loved about SBKidz dresses, 9 out of 12 unanimously gave it to the frills and bows……, sorry little ladies, no bows in this collection but you’ve got your frills, enjoy!”
